Summary
The battle continues.
If I’m doing the math correctly—though I’m probably not—I’ve spent around $10,450 so far in my quest to fight a sagging face. For the love of all things, I hope my husband never sees this! Was it worth it? Well, yes and no. Comparing these photos, I can definitely see a noticeable improvement in my turkey neck, so in that sense, yes. But should I have saved that $10k for a facelift at 55? Maybe
I’d say all of the treatments helped a little, and when combined, they were probably worth it. But individually, none of them were a miracle solution. If that makes sense.
I’ll continue exploring skin-tightening treatments, but only those recommended by my doctors—bonus points if the doctor doesn’t even offer the treatment in their office. The devices are incredibly expensive, and if a doctor has invested in one, I worry they might push it, even if it’s not the most effective option.
This year, I’ll be heading to Korea and plan to try a few treatments there at a much more affordable price point. The battle continues.
*This doesn't include filler. In the photo on the right, I’ve got filler everywhere: my mid-cheeks, cheekbones, nasolabial folds, chin, lips, and probably a few other areas I’m forgetting. I highly recommend Dr. Naga at Skin DC in Washington, DC. Her work is exceptional—natural, honest, and truly transformative.
