As I entered midlife, after two decades of bleaching my hair, I began to notice something unsettling: thinning at my temples and along my once-full hairline. Each morning, the sight of my receding hairline served as a harsh reminder of the passage of time, and it was deeply disheartening to face a change I never anticipated. What had once symbolized vitality and youth was now a source of anxiety, sparking concerns about self-image and femininity. The emotional impact of hair loss is real, triggering feelings of vulnerability and a yearning for the confidence I once took for granted.

On January 1, 2024, I began trying a combination of treatments to restore and thicken my hair.

These photos were taken six months apart. The top photos are when I started, the middle photos are six months in and the bottom were taken just last week. As you can see from my before and after photos, something is working.
