red light therapy
I use the Omnilux Contour face mask / Contour neck and Décolleté mask five days a week
On good weeks, I manage to use them daily. The research behind red light therapy is extensive and well-respected, showing its potential to aid in the healing of skin, muscle tissue, and other body parts. This therapy works by targeting your skin and cells, enhancing mitochondrial production—your cells' energy sources—which improves cell function and repair.
For optimal results, look for devices that emit light within the effective wavelength range of 630 to 700 nanometers (nm), with 660 nm being the most common.
In my experience, red light therapy not only helps reduce fine lines but also accelerates the healing of blemishes and promotes hair growth. I often use the face mask on my scalp, hands, and any injuries, and I genuinely believe it makes a difference.
While the initial investment is moderate, there are no ongoing costs, and I’ve been using my Omnilux device almost every day for two years. The battery life has diminished somewhat; I find myself needing to recharge it after two to three uses, which is fairly standard. I reached out to Omnilux, and they offered a replacement battery for just $15.
I cannot recommend red light therapy enough!
