What is PicoWay Resolve?

PicoWay Resolve is a non-invasive laser treatment designed to improve skin tone, texture, and pigmentation by using ultra-short energy pulses. This laser splits into microbeams, allowing it to target specific areas effectively. By breaking up pigmentation and stimulating collagen, it can help reduce signs of sun damage, acne scars, and fine lines.

Studies on PicoWay Resolve

Several studies highlight the benefits of PicoWay Resolve, though most involve small participant groups. One notable study from the Main Line Center for Laser Surgery observed 20 participants with melasma who received four treatments, each a month apart. Follow-ups at three and eight months post-treatment revealed a significant reduction in the Melasma Area and Severity Index (mMASI) scores, with 90% of participants expressing satisfaction and no major adverse events reported. Another study involving 70 individuals showed that after 3-9 sessions, 50-74% pigment clearance was achieved, with effects lasting around 3-9 months.

My Experience

The treatment was quick but left my skin feeling intensely hot immediately afterward. By the next day, most of the redness had faded, and I experienced significant peeling. While PicoWay Resolve provided some noticeable benefits, I personally found that microneedling with PRP or RF offered more dramatic results for skin texture and tone, albeit at a higher cost.
